Indian mobile manufacturer Maxx Mobile has launched two Android-based smartphones, the AX8 Race and AX9Z Race for Rs. 8,875 and Rs. 12,375 respectively.
The Maxx AX8 Race supports dual-SIM and features a 5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display. The smartphone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1GHz Mediatek MT6575 chipset. It has 512 MB of RAM with 4GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
It sports an 8MP rear facing camera with auto-focus and LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera. On the connectivity front, it features a 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. The phone is powered by a 2300 mAh battery. The smartphone is available in Black and White clour options.
The Maxx AX9Z Race is also a dual-SIM phone and sports a 5.3 capacitive touch display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. It has a 1.2 GHz dual-core Mediatek processor and has 512MB of RAM.
The smartphone sports an 8MP rear facing camera with auto-focus and LED flash along with a 2MP front facing camera. It offers 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean featuring 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity option along with an FM radio. It has a powerful 2300 mAh battery.
The phones are available for order on the Maxx Mobile website and the company even offers a free leather cover and a screen protector.
