LG has announced that it will start rolling out its X power2 smartphone this month. In a press statement, the company has announced the smartphone will become first available in North America followed by markets like Asia, Europe, Latin America and others.
LG X power2 was announced just days ahead of Mobile World Congress in February. The smartphone is the successor to last year's X power and is powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz chipset. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch 720p HD display and comes with options of either 1.5GB or 2GB RAM along with 16GB internal storage.
"The combination of outstanding battery life, spacious display and exceptional camera capabilities made the first X power a popular proposition for millions and we expect the newest iteration of the X power series to be even more attractive," said Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
The handset features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It measures 154.7 x 78.1 x 8.4mm and weighs around 164 grams. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and is equipped with a 4500mAh battery along with support for fast charging. LG X power2 offers connectivity options like WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and microUSB port. The handset will be available in Black Titan, Shiny Gold, Shiny Titan and Shiny Blue colour options.
