LG V30 will be announced on August 31, a day ahead of the official start of IFA in Berlin. The smartphone is expected to be an improved version of G6 launched in February.

LG V30, the second flagship smartphone from the company will be announced on August 31. The South Korean smartphone maker recently started sending out invites for the event, which is to be held a day before the start of IFA in Berlin. Ahead of its official announcement, the smartphone's design renders have been leaked by OnLeaks, which suggests that the V30 will be a larger version of th LG G6 with a Full Vision display. The V30 is expected to be the first LG device to feature an OLED display and it is skipping on the secondary display which was been used on previous V series devices. The smartphone is expected to feature metal and glass unibody design, similar to the one on the G6, and feature dual-rear camera setup.

LG V30 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM, and is said to feature a 6-inch Full Vision display with and aspect ratio of 18:9. The handset is also tipped to run Android Nougat v7.1.2 . While the LG V30 may seem like an improved version of the G6, SlashGear reports that V30 will also offer an improved camera setup.

The report says that the V30 will feature dual-rear camera setup with one normal lens and another wide-angle lens, just like the G6. However, the main camera here is expected to offer a f/1.6 aperture as opposed to f/1.8 found on the LG G6. Samsung's Galaxy S8 and HTC U11 offer f/1.7 aperture and the use of wider f/1.6 aperture could lead to better low-light photos and overall sharper image quality. There is no clarity on the features of the wide-angle camera yet.
