LG has silently introduced Stylus 3, its stylus equipped mid-range smartphone in India. The handset was first announced in December and then formally introduced at CES in January. The smartphone is priced at Rs 18,500 and can be purchased from company's retail stores in India.
On the hardware front, LG Stylus 3 sports a 5.7-inch HD display and is powered by MediaTek MT6750 SoC. The smartphone comes with 3GB RAM, 16GB storage and supports up to 2TB external storage. The Stylus 3 features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The handset is 7.4mm thick and weighs around 149 grams.
The LG Stylus 3 runs Android 7.0 Nougat and features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset is backed by a decent 3200mAh battery and has a built-in stylus. LG has taken a page out of Samsung's ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 in the software department to enhance the stylus function.
The stylus here comes with a precision 1.8mm fine tip for sketching and creating notes. The stylus supports screen off memo and options to trace and crop selection. LG's tweaked UI offer pop up memo, capture+, quick memo instantly after the stylus is pulled out.LG Stylus 3 supports WiFi 802.11n, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1 and 4G VoLTE. The smartphone is available in metallic titan and pink gold colour options.
