LG has officially launched its Optimus Sol and Optimus Hub smartphones in India. While the LG Optimus Sol has been priced at Rs. 19,000 (MPR), the Optimus Hub comes for Rs. 14,500 (MRP). The new Optimus Sol and Optimus Hub join LG’s Android-based mid-ranged Optimus series of smartphones. The new Optimus Hub is being pitted against the likes of the newly launched Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman and Samsung Galaxy Ace smartphones.
LG Optimus Sol
The LG Optimus Sol E730 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by a 1GHz ARMv7 Processor. The Optimus Sol sports a 5MP primary camera, 0.3MP secondary camera and 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen. The smartphone has an embedded storage of 1GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD and microSDHC cards. For connectivity, the device supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi platforms. The LG Optimus Sol E730 is available at online stores for Rs. 16,990.
LG Optimus Hub
The new LG Optimus Hub runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It has an 800MHz ARMv6 Processor and sports 5MP primary camera, 3.5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. While the Optimus Sol features 720p HD video recording, the Optimus Hub can record videos with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at 15 fps. GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity options are also available on the Optimus Hub. This LG device has an in-built storage of 152 MB. The storage can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The LG Optimus Hub E510 is available at online stores for Rs. 12,699.
