The L5 II, which is expected to launch last in April, has a 4-inch IPS LCD display with a 480×800 pixel resolution. The device has a 1GHz MTK6575 processor and 512MB of RAM. It has 4GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The rear of the device houses a 5MP shooter. The L5 II runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a 1700mAh battery.
All the three smartphones boast of dual-SIM capabilities. For now, no pricing details are available for any of the three smartphones in India. LG’s L-Series smartphones have been quite popular, and have crossed the 10 million sales mark since their launch in 2012. You can catch the details of that story here.
Looking at the specifications of the device, we expect them to be priced in the Rs. 15-20k price bracket. LG will have its work cut out in this price bracket in India as we have seen smartphones (from both international and domestic manufacturers) such as the HTC Desire SV, Samsung Galaxy S Duos, Lava Xolo A1000, Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos and more gunning for the top spot in the same premium dual-SIM market.
