Following the global debut of the Optimus F5, South Korean consumer electronics major LG introduced a new smartphone with a big-screen called the Optimus GK. Currently available for the Korean market, the Optimus GK comes with features nearly identical with the recent Optimus G Pro, except for a smaller 5-inch display.
The LG Optimus GK sports a 5-inch full HD display with 1920x1080p pixels resolution. The smartphone runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset, clocked at 1.7GHz.
The Optimus GK houses a 2GB of RAM, built-in storage of 16GB and microSD slot for further storage expansion. Other features of the smartphone include 3100mAh battery, 13MP main camera, and a 2MP front-facing snapper. For connectivity, the Optimus GK supports Bluetooth v4.0,USB v2.0,Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n(5GHz)),NFC and HDMI.
Even though the pricing of the smartphone hasn’t been revealed yet, the smartphone is already being pitted against Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4. There’s no word on the international availability of the device yet. You can check more details about the LG Optimus GK here.
