LG tries to revive the trend of flip phones with the new Ice Cream Smart. The new flip phone has Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1GB of RAM and 3.5-inch display.
LG has introduced a flip smartphone in Korea. Called the Ice Cream Smart, the smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone has a 3.5-inch display with 320 x 480 pixels resolution. It sports an 8MP main camera and VGA front facing camera. It comes with a 1700 mAh battery.
LG's new Ice Cream Smart flip phone is unlikely to launch in other markets. It may be recalled LG recently launched a flip phone called the LG Wine Smart.
The smartphone featured quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 320 x 480px display at 3.5-inches, 4GB of internal storage and 1,700mAh battery. The LG Wine Smart Flip comes with a "Safe Keeper" feature that automatically sends information like location to people assigned by the user when the handset is unused for a period of time.
