LG has announced that it has partnered with B&O (Bang & Olufsen) to provide high quality audio in its upcoming flagship phone, the LG G5. LG states that the two companies have been working closely together in order to provide the best experience to customers. In addition, LG claims to be the first company to offer Hi-Fi audio features co-designed by B&O Play.
Henrik Taudorf Lorensen, President of B&O Play, states, âÂÂWe are very excited to work with LG. With LGâÂÂs dedication to premium smartphones, the collaboration gives us the opportunity to bring B&O PlayâÂÂs acoustic excellence to an even broader customer base. B&O Play appeals to music lovers who want the best available products on the market.â The LG G5 will be unveiled on February 21 during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
LG has already confirmed that the phone will come with an Always ONÂ display, and has unveiled a quick cover case for the phone as well. The device is tipped to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and house a 5.3-inch QHD display, with a secondary display similar to the one found on the LG V10. The phone is also expected to come with a dual-camera setup at the back with a fingerprint scanner/power button located below it. A seller on a Dubai based e-commerce website has already listed the phone for sale for AED 2,500, which is about Rs. 46,700.
