LG G3 mini rumoured to feature 4.5-inch display, quad-core processor
According to rumours, the G3 mini will sport a 4.5-inch HD display, 8GB storage and 5MP main camera.
After having launched the G3, LG is set to soon launch a mini variant of the flagship model, dubbed as the G3 mini. Though there's no official word on when the G3 mini will debut, some of the specifications of the smartphone have already leaked.
According to a listing on Indian import/ export site Zauba, a LG smartphone sporting with model number "LGD722" has been spotted, believed to be the G3 mini. The listing suggests the smartphone will have a 4.5-inch display; the flagship has a 5.5-inch display.
Other specifications include a 1.2GHz quad-core processor; HD display; 8GB inbuilt storage (no word on expandable storage); 5-MP rear camera, and a 2100mAh battery.
The listing also reveals the smartphone sporting the LGD722 is the number that is destined for European markets, the LGD725 will be released via AT&T, the LGD728 will be going to China, with the LGD722K going to Taiwan, and the LGD724 headed to CIS.
According to the trend, brands such as Sony, Samsung, LG and HTC have been launching a smaller version of the flagships with the mini moniker. HTC has already launched the One Mini 2, while Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S5 mini soon.
