LG G2 international version not to get Android 4.4 KitKat update this month
KitKat update is said to bring a range of new features, design change and performance improvement.
Non-Korean LG G2 users may have to wait couple of months to receive the latest Android 4.4 update. Back in December last year, LG had started rolling out the KitKat update for the Korean version, triggering speculations about the imminent upgrade for international users.
Earlier, LG Mobile Saudi Arabia said the KitKat update will arrive for the local G2 smartphones by January-end, but later tendered apology for sending out wrong information. In another tweet, LG Mobile Saudi Arabia said: “We apologize for the previous wrong tweet regarding G2 Kit Kat upgrade schedule, the date was for upgrading the KnockOn feature to Lii series”.
Also, LG Mobile Italy in a response to a user query on its Facebook page confirmed the update for the G2 has been scheduled for March-end.
New update about the G2 KitKat update comes days after an alleged leaked video showed the software running on the G2. Check it out below. Also read: LG G2 Review
