LG has already confirmed launching G Pro 2 will be officially launched next month. Expected at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress event, new information about the smartphone has surfaced on the web via leaked images ut of Korean Web site DC Inside.
The leaked images give more clear idea about what the new smartphone is going to offer. If leaked images are to believed, the LG G Pro 2 will retain the rear-mounted button configuration that was seen in the LG G2, launched last year. The leaked images show a white handset with chrome accents, but is expected to be available in black colour as well.
According to rumours, the LG G Pro 2 will have a 6-inch 1080p HD display, taking on other large-screen smartphones from Samsung and Sony. The G Pro 2 will run Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB RAM along with support for LTE and LTE-Advanced.
The smartphone/phablet may come with fingerprint scanner, which is rumoured to be available in the next flagship LG G3.
Right now, we’ve only official word on when the smartphone is going to be unveiled. Pricing and availability details are yet to be disclosed.
