Just yesterday, we reported that LG might be the maker of the next Google Nexus phone and today, photographic evidence has put those rumors to rest.
The photographs seem to suggest that the next Nexus phone won’t look much different from the existing Nexus phone, with a slightly different back, which seems to have a glitter-type back. According to Nenamark benchmark results, the LG made Nexus is packing in a Qualcomm 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor with Adreno 320 GPU.
It makes sense for LG to be making the next device, seeing as how they have a tie up with Qualcomm giving them access to the fastest mobile chip out there, the S4. LG is also known to make some of the best displays out there, so it’s not surprise that Google would pick LG for making their next Nexus. Then there is also the fact that LG developed a 2100 mAh battery in house which has not only a slimmer profile, but also prolonged charging cycles.

There is also a rumor going around that suggest that the next Nexus won’t be a solo device. Sources believe that there will be a slew of Nexus devices coming out in the next few months, each made by a different manufacturer. Whether this is actually true or not will only be revealed once Google actually announces the next Nexus, or when a leak like this one occurs.
