Lenovo Zuk Edge to sell in China from tomorrow
The Zuk Edge is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 821 SoC, along with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Lenovo is all set to unveil the Zuk Edge tomorrow, in China. The information was teased by Lenovo’s VP on Weibo, with a render of the device. According to Gizmochina, the Zuk Edge will be put up on sale without a prior event. As the name suggests, the main attribute of the device is the thin-bezel display. From the official renders we have seen till now, the display is not as edgeless as the Xiaomi Mi Mix, but are still slimmer than regular phones. Below the display, the device has a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button, giving it similar look as the Lenovo Z2 Plus.
The phone is rumoured to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC. Smartphones such as the Google Pixel and OnePlus 3T have already unveiled on the Snapdragon 821. Alongside the SoC, the Zuk Edge may house 6GB RAM and 64GB native storage. A 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera have also been reported. The Zuk Edge is also rumoured to have a 3000mAh battery, and run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Lenovo is likely to price the device aggressively, keeping with its current trends. Rumours suggest that the Lenovo Zuk Edge may be priced at CNY 2,699 (Rs. 24,600, approximately).
