Lenovo ZUK Edge to launch in China next week, CEO confirms
ZUK CEO, Chang Chen also posted an image on Weibo, which showed the device as well as the packaging
Lenovo will be launching the next phone under the ZUK brand next week. ZUK CEO, Chang Cheng, made the announcement on Weibo and also posted an image that shows the front and back of the phone along with the packaging. However, the exact date of the launch is not yet known. Judging by the image, the phone might come with either a leather back, or a leather protective cover.
The ZUK Edge has been spotted on Chinese certification website, TENAA. The device is tipped to come with a 5.5-inch FHD display and may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC with 4GB of RAM. The phone is expected to offer 13MP and 8MP cameras, and might be available in 32GB and 64GB storage variants. Images of the ZUK Edge were leaked a few days ago and suggest that the device might not come with a dual-curved screen like Samsung’s Edge series of devices.
It is not yet known if of when the phone will come to India. However, Lenovo has brought the ZUK series of devices in India under its Z lineup. The ZUK Z1 and the ZUK Z2 were launched in India as the Lenovo Z1 and Z2 Plus respectively.
