Lenovo released three images which are said to be shot on Lenovo Z5s' AI Triple Camera. The company has also unveiled a poster showing the triple camera setup at the back.

Taking potshots at your competitors is nothing new in the tech world and now Chinese players have been indulging in this practice more than ever. We recently saw how Poco F1 placed its ads outside the OnePlus 6T smartphone launch event venue. In another case, Lenovo was seen taking a jibe at its fellow tech firm Xiaomi in China. The company posted three images that are said to taken from the Lenovo Z5s phone and claimed that those were better than what Xiaomi Mi 8 can click. Some of the camera samplses are shared below.

The company also unveiled a new poster, in which it shows the rear triple camera setup, which looks a lot like the one we have seen on the Huawei P20 Pro. Lenovo did not reveal the configuration of the camera, but is expected that there will be a regular sensor, an ultra-wide sensor and a telephoto sensor along with a dual-tone flash. Interestingly, there is no fingerprint sensor seen in the image, so it could be possible that the Lenovo Z5s may have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

According to a report, Lenovo has already sent the device to DxOMark labs for testing. Currently, Xiaomi Mi 8 sits on the ninth spot with 99 points. If Lenovo Z5s scores more than this, it will mean that the phone will also leapfrog the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, which has the same score. Recently, the smartphone was allegedly seen in a hands-on video and it showed a punch-hole camera on the top of the display placed just under the earpiece.

Lenovo will launch the device on December 18 at an event at the company headquarters in Beijing. Recent reports have suggested that the Lenovo Z5s will be powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset and will sport a 6.3-inch display and a 3,210mAh battery. The company recently launched the Lenovo Z5 Pro with manual slider design, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 710 AIE and HDR10 compliant display, in China. The smartphone has a 95.06 percent screen-to-body ratio and it comes with a 6GB RAM base variant with an option of choosing from 64GB or 128GB of internal storage models.
