Lenovo might soon launch another smartphone from the Zuk series in India. The company posted a teaser for an upcoming smartphone on its social media accounts and the text on the accompanying image read, “impatience is a virtue” with the letter ‘Z’ superimposed over it. Speculation suggests that the company might be planning to launch the Zuk Z2 in India as the Lenovo Z2 Plus.
The Zuk Z2 was launched in China in at CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs. 18,000). It sports a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM. The phone is equipped with 13MP and 8MP cameras and offers 64GB of onboard storage. It also features a USB Type-C port and a fingerprint sensor that is located on the home button. Lenovo has also launched the Zuk Z2 Pro in China. The phone features a slightly bigger 5.2-inch FHD display and is also powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC. However, it offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The company launched the Zuk Z1 in India as the Lenovo Z1 back in May this year. The phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 801 SoC with 3GB of RAM. It also offers 64GB of storage and is equipped with a 4100mAh battery. The phone was launched running Cyanogenmod 12.1 instead of Lenovo’s Vibe UI.
