After launching the Vibe K5 plus earlier this year, the company has announced the Vibe K5 in India. The Vibe K5 shares a similar design as the Vibe K5 plus, but features less powerful hardware. The device is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will be available via Amazon India. At this price, the phone will up going against the Coolpad Note 3 Lite, Meizu M2 and the Acer Liquid Z530. Both the Lenovo Vibe K5 and K5 Plus were originally launched back at MWC 2016.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 SoC, and features 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage. The phone can take Dual-SIMs and has a dedicated micro SD card slot. The device has a 5-inch display, just like the Vibe K5 Plus but instead of a 1080p resolution, it makes do with 720p resolution.
In the camera department, there is no distinguishable change from the Vibe K5 Plus as the phone features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The rear camera can shoot videos in 1080p @ 30fps. The phones uses a 2750 mAh battery and charges via micro USB 2.0 port. Audio on the phone is handled by Dolby software, which we saw on the Vibe K5 Plus as well.
