Lenovo Vibe B, a new affordable 4G smartphone, has reportedly been launched in India. According to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the Vibe B is priced at Rs 5,799 and will be available starting today evening. The smartphone is a budget offering and it is yet to be listed on Lenovo India's website.
The Lenovo Vibe B is an entry-level smartphone featuring 4.5-inch FWGA display with display resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Powering the device is a quad-core MediaTek MT6735m processor clocked at 1.0GHz. The smartphone comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The Vibe B sports a 5MP fixed-focus camera on the back while the front shooter is a 2MP one. The Lenovo Vibe B is backed by a 2000mAh battery rated at up to 7.3 days of standby time, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone comes preloaded with Skype, Twitter and other social media apps.
At Rs 5,799, the Lenovo Vibe B will compete against similar offerings from domestic players like Intex, Karbonn and Micromax. Lenovo has already grown to be the second largest smartphone brand in India, and with its new entry-level offering, the company could be aiming for Tier II and Tier III markets.
