The Lenovo S580 has a 5-inch 720p display. It runs Android 4,3 Jelly Bean (upgradable) to KitKat. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 8GB of ROM and microSD slot support up to 32GB.

Lenovo's new phone will be competing against a wide range of budget Android phones in the market such as Asus Zenfone 5, Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Huawei Honor Holly and Moto G (first gen).
