Lenovo P2 with 5100mAh battery expected to launch in India soon
Lenovo P2 features a 5.5-inch display and a massive 5100mAh battery
Lenovo's next smartphone launch in India will be the P2, one aimed at the battery conscious consumers. Lenovo has already started teasing the device and the product is being dubbed as a powerhouse.
Lenovo Vibe P2 was showcased at IFA 2016 along with K6 series. Lenovo recently introduced K6 Power and K6 Note and it's now time for P2 to come out of the covers. For Lenovo, the Vibe P series has always been big battery offerings and P2 is no different. Lenovo P2 is the successor to Vibe P1, which was launched in October 2015 in India.
Lenovo P2 follows on its predecessor's footsteps by offering a 5100mAh battery rated to last upto 768 hours on standby. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 processor.

Lenovo P2 was announced in three storage options with 32GB storage variant being made available with 3GB or 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage variant getting a standard 4GB RAM. It is unclear what variants will be made available in India. In terms of camera, Lenovo P2 offers a 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash. The smartphone also offers a 5MP front camera with features like face detection. Lenovo P2 uses microUSB port and supports Qualcomm's fast charging standard.
Lenovo Vibe P1 was launched in India at Rs 14,999 and one can expect P2 to arrive here at similar price range. The smartphone will be available in Gold and Grey colour options.
