Lenovo K3 Note smartphone coming to India on June 25
After being available solely in China since March, Lenovo is finally bringing the K3 Note out of its home market.
Lenovo has announced a June 25 event for India where the K3 Note will finally be unveiled to markets outside China. Following the Lenovo A6000 and A6000 Plus budget smartphones, the K3 Note is expected to be launched in the sub-10k price bracket. Launched in China back in March, the smartphone features almost an identical design to the Lenovo A6000, but in a larger form factor.
The Lenovo K3 Note features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD with 1080p FHD resolution. It is 8mm thin and weighs 150 grams. Inside, it carries a MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor running at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM and Mali-T760MP2 GPU. The K3 Note offers 16GB of internal memory, with a 32GB expandable microSD slot included. The primary 13-megapixel camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps, while the secondary camera is specced at 5 megapixels. The phone is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
The A6000 was known for including a 64-bit processor, and providing decent performance and a fine camera. The Lenovo K3 Note, will look to continue on the same route, with better ammo in its arsenal than the A6000. In China, the K3 Note presently sells for CNY 899, or about Rs. 9,284. Lenovo will possibly be maintaining a similar pricing when it launches later next week in India.
