Lenovo A6000 Plus with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage announced
The Lenovo A6000 Plus is an improved version of the A6000. The new Lenovo phone features an increased 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.
Lenovo has announced a new variant of its popular A6000 smartphone. Called the Lenovo A6000 Plus, the smartphone runs Android KitKat 4.4 and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor along with 2GB of RAM.
The Lenovo A6000 Plus has a 5-inch 720p IPS display. It sports 8MP rear camera and 2MP front cameras. The smartphone comes with 16GB internal storage and can be expanded via microSD . Connectivity options include 4G, dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is powered by a 2300 mAh battery.
So far, the company hasn't revealed details on the pricing and release of the smartphone. According to reports, Lenovo is likely to continue to sell the phone as Flipkart-exclusive and be priced around Rs. 8,000.
The announcement of the new smartphone comes shortly after Lenovo launched its A7000 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 8,999, the A7000 features a 5.5-inch smartphone with HD display, ultra-wide viewing angles and Dolby's Atoms technology, Android 5.0 Lollipop and a MediaTek octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with 2GB of RAM. The new A6000 Plus looks to be an upgrade over Lenovo's A6000, and is likely to fill the gap between A6000 and A7000 phones.
