Lenovo has introduced a new budget Android smartphone – A526. Priced at Rs. 9,499, the Lenovo A526 supports dual-SIM, runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6582M processor along with 1GB of RAM.
The Lenovo A526 has a 4.5-inch display with 854 x 480 pixel resolution. It has a 5MP rear camera and 0.3MP front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with 4GB built-in storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The A526 is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery.
With the new A526, Lenovo is aiming at the budget segment. However, the company is also focussing on the high end segment. It recently launched its latest flagship smartphone, Lenovo Vibe Z. Priced at Rs. 34,999, the smartphone features 5.5-inch full HD display, 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 13MP camera.
