Evan Blass said that the device is likely to be made by Optiemus, which means it will be exclusive to India.

Leakster Evan Blass had earlier divulged information about the bezel-less BlackBerry Ghost and said it may launch in India. He also reported that there is a possibility of another high-end variant of the phone called BlackBerry Ghost Pro will also be seen in the country. Now he claims that the rumoured BlackBerry Ghost smartphone could be launched with a big 4,000 mAh battery.

“One more Ghost tidbit: it's got a 4,000mAh battery, which would be one of the largest in a flagship-class device,” the leakster tweeted. The information comes almost four months after Blass first claimed the existence of the BlackBerry Ghost. At that time he had claimed that BlackBerry will ditch the famous QWERTY keyboard and launch the device in conversation with and edge-to-edge 18:9 display. He also said mentioned that it will be made by Optiemus, which means the device will be exclusive to India.

For the unaware, Blackberry licensed its brand name to a Delhi-based telecom company Optiemus Infracom to make phones, along with China’s TCL and BB Merah Putih. Optiemus Infracom is licensed to sell Blackberry phones only in India. Blackberry KEYone was one of the first phones to come out of the association. Blackberry launched BlackBerry KEY2 smartphone on June 7 in New York.
