Leaked Samsung Galaxy S7’s teaser video confirms waterproofing
Samsung Indonesia has an unlisted teaser website that highlights some of the features of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge
Samsung Indonesia has an unlisted teaser web page that showcases some of the qualities of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, including a teaser video. The video somewhat confirms that both the devices are water resistant, as seen in the video. One of the teasers show the device with bubbles and the caption, ‘worry-less discovery’ that also hinted at it’s water resistant capability. The video also shows the device being wirelessly charged.
The teaser web page also has an image with a lock screen with the caption “experience privacy at its finest,” which may be highlighting the device’s security features. Another teaser has the text “bring light to the night” with the image of a camera lens that might be pointing at better low-light photography. Last month, it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge might be dust and water proof. The two devices are tipped to come in two variants, one may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, while the other might have an Exynos 8890 SoC. Samsung is also expected to use a 12MP rear camera on the device with a f/1.7 aperture, which would improve its low-light capabilities.
