New leaked screenshots of LG’s next flagship smartphone, the LG G3 have surfaced online. The images show the latest revamped Optimus UI and confirm that the device will feature a QHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.
The overall look of the latest Optimus UI is clean and flat. The leaked screenshots show less cluttered icons, notification drawer and launcher. A lot of the manufacturers are embracing this trend now. Similar to the Samsung Touchwiz UI on the Galaxy S5, quick settings toggles have rounded icons, while the position of the QSlide apps remains the same.
An interesting feature that appears in the leaked screenshots reads, “You may want to take an umbrella since rain is expected during this afternoon”. A source revealed to GSMArena that this is a new feature, which checks the weather forecast and gives personalized recommendations based on your daily routine.
Other specifications leaked of the LG G3 smartphone are a 5.5-inch display screen with 534ppi density. It is expected to have a 16MP rear camera and will support a dust and water resistant design. The LG G3 is expected to be launched in May or June this year.
LG had unveiled its LG G2 Pro high-end smartphone earlier this year. The LG G Pro 2 smartphone features a 5.9-inch full HD IPS display. It has a 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It has a 13MP rear camera and 2.1 MP front camera for video calling.
