Huawei Nexus bootloader image leak…again: points at Snapdragon 810
Another image leaked on Weibo suggests 3GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB internal storage and USB Type-C on the Huawei Nexus
A fresh image leak of Huawei Nexus 2015’s bootloader on Weibo shows it running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core SoC. The leaked image also shows it having 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
The revealed specs are similar to the ones speculated in almost all the rumors surrounding the Huawei-manufactured Nexus. The 'Angler-V4' product/variant name on the bootloader image is what gave way to speculations that it belongs to the larger-screen Nexus iteration of 2015, being made by Huawei.
As Qualcomm has already made it clear that Snapdragon 820 will not be coming to the market before 2016, it gives us one more reason to believe that the Huawei Nexus most probably will run on Snapdragon 810. But, like as we say everytime, all rumors come with a pinch of salt, and things can change drastically from these leaks, to the actual product launch. The Weibo user, who leaked the image, has also posted a few more photos, showing the device with a USB Type-C port.
Continuing with more Nexus leaks, there are 3 more leaks of the Huawei Nexus which were posted by Tiesen Fu on his Google+ account. The photos show the phones from back, front, and in case. You can see that the camera, protruding slightly, is at the top, and the rumored fingerprint scanner is below it.
Recently, a photo of the LG Nexus 5 (2015) was also leaked, providing information on the LG Nexus 5 (2015)'s front camera via a leaked selfie. The photo has the face of an employee, pixelated to hide his identity. The EXIF data of the photo shows the device’s name as ‘Bullhead’, which is the codename for the upoming Nexus device being made by LG.
P.S. No, we will not stop posting leaks about both the Nexus phones, until LG and Huawei actually get frustrated, and release the devices. Way to go, leaksters!
