Lava is gearing up to launch the Lava O2 handset in India on March 22nd at noon. The microsite of the Lava O2 handset recently went live on Amazon, revealing a few things about the device. Now, the microsite has been updated to disclose more specifications of the upcoming device.

According to the microsite, the Lava O2 smartphone will be equipped with a 6.5-inch 90Hz HD+ punch hole display.

The upcoming Lava O2 is confirmed to come with 8GB RAM + 128GB UFS 2.2 ROM.

For photography, the Lava O2 handset will house a 50MP AI rear camera. On the front, it will have an 8MP selfie shooter. The handset will come with multiple camera modes: Beauty, HDR, Night, Portrait, AI, Pro, Panorama, Slow Motion, Filters, Timelapse, Intelligent Scanning and Burst.

The upcoming Lava O2 will pack a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging support.

The handset is confirmed to be powered by the octa-core Unisoc T616 chipset. Lava claims that the Lava O2 device will be the fastest phone in its price segment.

The Lava 02 smartphone will come in three colour options: Imperial Green, Majestic Purple and Royal Gold.

Other confirmed features of this device include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, support for face unlock, and Android 13.

Now, let’s talk about the design. The Lava O2 will feature Aurora Design and AG glass back.

This device will have a dual rear camera setup at the top left corner. There will be a small Lava logo on the bottom left corner of the rear panel.

The bottom of the Lava O2 will have a speaker grille, charging port and an audio jack, while the right side will have the power and volume buttons.
