Lava has expanded its X1 series with addition two new phones – Iris X1 Grand & Iris X1 Mini – priced at Rs. 7326 and Rs. 4348 respectively.
First up is the Iris X1 Grand. The smartphone has a 5-inch IPS display. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat (upgradable to Lolliop) and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1GB of RAM. It has 8MP auto focus BSI sensor rear camera and 2MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include USB v2.0, Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n). The smartphone is powered by a 2200 mAh battery.
The Iris X1 Mini has a 4-inch display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor along with 512MB of RAM. It has 4GB of ROM, supports 32GB expandable storage. It sports a 5 MP 4x digital zoom rear camera supported with a VGA front camera. It is powered by a 1750 mAh battery.
Both the smartphones will be available sale across all national retail stores, multi-brand outlets and major e-commerce portals in India from first week of February.

Lava recently launched Iris Alfa budget smartphone featuring a 5-inch display, quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 2200 mAh battery. Earlier, it launched the Iris X5 featuring a 5MP front-facing camera with auto focus, BSI+ camera sensor, 84 degree wide angle lense and LED flash.
