Lava launches Iris Atom at Rs. 4,249
Lava has launched the Iris Atom smartphone in India. The device has a 4-inch WVGA Display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It also sports 8GB built-in storage.
Lava has announced the launch of the Iris Atom smartphone. The device is listed on Lava’s website and is priced at Rs. 4,249. Coming to the specifications of the Iris Atom, it has a 4-inch display with 480×800 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it has a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM. It has 8GB built-in storage expandable by upto 32GB via a microSD card. The rear of the smartphone has a 5MP camera and the front has a 0.3MP camera. A 1550mAh battery powers the entire package. The smartphone weighs 110 grams. The company claims that the device can last for about 12 hours of talk time on 2G, and about 9 hours on 3G. The Lava Iris Atom runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Coming to the connectivity options, the smartphone has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0 and FM radio.
Under its Iris Atom umbrella, Lava has two other smartphones – Iris Atom 2 and the Iris Atom 3.
Starting with the specifications of the Lava Iris Atom 2, the smartphone is priced at Rs. 4,444. The dual-SIM smartphone has a 1.3 GHz quad-core Processor coupled with 512MB RAM. Iris Atom 2 has a 4.5-inch display with a FWVGA (854 x 480 pixel resolution). The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 out of the box but is upgradable to Android 5.1 Lollipop. The rear of the smartphone has a 5MP camera and the front has a VGA camera. It has 8GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. It is 9.15mm thin and weigh 130 grams. A 1750mAh battery powers the entire package.
Moving to the Lava Iris Atom 3, the smartphone is priced at Rs. 4,899. The dual-SIM device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The smartphone also boasts of dual-SIM capabilities. Under the hood it has a 1.3GHz quad-core Processor coupled with 512MB RAM. Iris Atom 3 has a 5-inch display with a FWVGA (854 x 480 pixel resolution). The rear of the smartphone has a 5MP camera and the front has a 2MP camera. It has 8GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. It is 9mm thin and weigh 150 grams. A 2000mAh battery powers the entire package.
