Lava Iris 550Q, 5.5-inch quad-core smartphone launched at Rs. 13,000

Lava has added a new smartphone to its Iris series. Called the Lava Iris 550Q, the smartphone supports dual-SIM, runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 13,000
The Lava Iris 550Q has a 5.5-inch IPS display with 720p resolution. It has an 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor and a 2MP front camera. The smartphone has 4GB of ROM, expandable up to 32GB via microSD. For connectivity, the Iris 550Q supports 3G, EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB.
The Lava Iris 550Q is powered by a 2,600 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver talktime of up to 5 hours on 3G. Other features of the smartphone include Predictive Text Input, Calendar, MMS Enabled, Alarm, Calculator, Call Barring, Call Waiting, Sound Recorder, Flash Light, Back-up and Restore, G Sensor, Proximity Sensor, GPS/A-GPS and Ambient Light Sensor.
