Lava announces 4.55-inch Iris 455, running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
Lava has introduced the Iris 455 smartphone running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The smartphone also boasts of a dual-core processor.
Lava has added one more smartphone to its portfolio. Christened the Iris 455, the smartphone boasts of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz along with 512MB of RAM. No pricing has been announced for the smartphone.
Other specifications of the Iris 455 include a 4.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixel resolution) display. The rear of the smartphone has a 5MP camera and the front has a VGA camera for video calling. The phone includes connectivity features like GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G.
The Lava Iris 455 comes pre-loaded with a variety of apps, including Fusion, Saavn, Saving Private Sheep, Hike, Cricket Fever and Air-control to name a few. The Lava Iris 455 comes in two colors, grey and silver. It also has 4GB built-in storage. The smartphone runs on a 1500mAh battery.
Considering the specifications of the device, we think it will be priced in the Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 9,000 price point. For that budget, you can take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Ace, HTC Wildfire S, Xolo X500, LG Optimus L3II and many more.
