Lava launched the Lava Agni 2 smartphone in India in May this year. The company is reportedly planning to launch Lava Agni 2S. The new smartphone is expected to launch in the coming weeks.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Lava Agni 2S is expected to launch before the end of this year. This means that the Agni 2S smartphone could launch in India in the coming weeks, reports Gizmochina.

The upcoming device is expected to share many similarities with the Lava Agni 2, with the primary difference being the use of a different processor.

The Lava Agni 2 smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, this device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. It’s important to note that the upcoming Agni 2S is expected to pack a different chipset.
For photography, the Lava Agni 2 houses a quad-camera setup on the back that consists of a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it features a 16MP camera.
The Agni 2 comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also supports virtual RAM of up to 16GB. This device is also packed with a 4,700mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
In terms of software, the Agni 2 smartphone model runs Android 13, and it is confirmed to receive Android 14 and 15, along with quarterly security updates for a duration of three years.
