The new Lava smartphone has a 10MP camera with Sony IMX179 Sensor, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 5-inch 720p display.

Lava has launched a new Android smartphone called the 504Q . Priced at Rs. 13,990, the new Lava smartphone supports dual-SIM, runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with Mali-400 MP2 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The Lava 504Q features a 5-inch 720 display with OGS technology and Asahi Dragontrail glass protection. It sports 8GB internal memory (5.33 GB user memory), 32GB expandable memory with microSD.

One of the most interesting features of the new smartphone is the 10MP camera rear camera, featuring auto focus with Sony IMX179 Sensor. It has 2MP secondary camera. Other camera features include voice control, touch focus, panorama, face detection, HDR, full HD recording and 4x digital camera.

For connectivity, the smartphone supports 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS. A 2000 mAh battery powers the smartphone. The Lava 504Q comes preloaded with BBM, WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter apps. Other features include Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Hall Sensor.

Lava’s new smartphone will compete against Xolo’s Q1010i, which featured an 8MP Sony Exmor R sensor.
