The countdown to the 2018 iPhone launch has started and we are just hours away from seeing the three new iPhones, that is if the constant barrage of incoming information does not reveal the all the remaining specs and design details of the Apple flagships before they make their stage debut. The latest discovery of the names of the 2018 iPhones – iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR – was made through Apple's own sitemap just a few hours ago and digging through the sitemap Steve Troughton-Smith has also found information on the storage and colour variants of the devices.
Apple has doubled up storage on its highest end iPhone XS Max to a maximum of 512GB. The 6.5-inch OLED iPhone XS Max and the smaller 5.8-inch OLED iPhone XS will also apparently be offered in 64GB and 256GB storage options. What is rumoured to be the cheaper of the lot, the third iPhone XR with a 6.1-inch OLED screen is now known to become available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB storage models.
The Apple sitemap also revealed that in terms of colours options, the iPhone XS and XS Max (both of which sound like colothing sizes, some would argue) will be available in Space Gray, Silver and Gold colours. The iPhone XR will get the iPhone 5C treatement and will be made available in a wider range of colours, including – Black, White, Red, Coral, Yellow, and Blue.
Here are all the ways you can catch the Apple iPhone launch livestream later tonight. Let's hope there are some surprises left to see live from Cupertino.
