If you are a die-hard fan of superstar Rajinikanth, here’s an interesting piece of news for you! Karbonn Mobiles will be launching special edition mobile phones and tablets, dedicated to Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie Kochadaiyaan. Karbonn has entered into a partnership with Eros and Mediaone for this purpose.
As per the agreement, Karbonn will be manufacturing five lakh Kochadaiyaan phones with its branding. According to reports, the special edition devices (including redesigned Karbonn Smart Tab 1 tablets) will feature such exclusive Kochadaiyaan content as acts, dialogues, screensavers, images, signature music, videos and trivia related to the movie.
The devices will come preloaded with an exclusive trailer of the film, along with the signature of Rajinikanth. The Kochadaiyaan phones and tablets are likely to be launched alongside the release of the movie.
As per the Wikipedia entry, Kochadaiyaan starring R. Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar will be releasing in December this year. The movie will be releasing in Hindi, Japanese and English.
Special edition phones/tablets are the newest trends in films promotions and advertising. Recently, Nokia launched The Dark Knight Rises Lumia 800 special edition phones.
