Jolla is expected to return with a brand new device or maybe even an upgraded Sailfish OS this week.
Jolla has announced that it will be making a comeback with a teaser posted on its Facebook, Twitter and official website. The teaser says 'Something BIG is about to begin' with a countdown that is rolling down to the 19th of November.
While there are no other details, we presume that it could be a brand new device as its first and only device, the Jolla phone, was originally announced in November 2013. It could be a new smartphone or even a tablet running on the company's Sailfish OS. We could also witness an upgrade to its mobile platform which hasn't gained significant popularity in the smartphone market.
Jolla had recently launched the Jolla phone in India, featuring a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels, a dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1 GB of RAM at a price tag of Rs. 16,499. which is a bit too much when compared to other competitors in the same segment.
Will the upcoming device be a game changer? Or is Jolla just being ambitious yet again? All will be revealed on the 19th, so, stay tuned.
