If you are on the lookout to get a new Wi-Fi hotspot, Reliance Jio has started a new exchange program that offers a cashback of Rs 2200 upon exchanging your old dongle for a JioFi modem. Users owning a non-Jio dongle can avail the offer.
Users need to buy a Jio-Fi dongle for Rs 999, following which users will have to activate the SIM by recharging for Rs 198 or Rs 299 + Rs 99 for JioPrime membership. After that, users will have to return the non-Jio dongle or modem at any Jiostore or at a Reliance Digital Store. There the user will be given a serial number of the old dongle along with the MSISDN number of the new Jio dongle.
Jio will then credit the cashback in the form of 44 vouchers which can be redeemed with a recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299 only. Each voucher is worth Rs 50 and can availed for a limited period of time. The Rs 198 recharge gives 2GB of internet data per day for 28 days while the Rs 299 recharge offers 3GB of 4G data per day for 28 days.
The JioFi dongle is a good option for users who don’t own a 4G smartphone yet want to enjoy 4G browsing speeds. The dongle is a standalone Wi-Fi modem that beams a wireless signal to devices with Wi-Fi support.
