Itel has launched a new A series smartphone in the Indian market, namely Itel A05s. The A05s comes in four colour options that are Nebula Black, Meadow Green, Crystal Blue, and Glorious Orange. On the front, it features a water-drop notch. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the back, placed at the camera module. As we all know, Itel is currently rolling out budget smartphones, the A05s is also one of them.
I am comparing this smartphone to the Redmi A2, which also comes in the same segment.
The Itel A05s is equipped with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels. Furthermore, the display supports a 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz sampling rate.
The Redmi A2 comes with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display that has a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The display of the smartphone also supports a 60Hz refresh rate.

The Itel A05s is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A chipset, which is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. The smartphone runs on Android 13 Go Edition OS.
On the other hand, the Redmi A2 runs on a MediaTek Helio G36 processor coupled with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. This smartphone can also run on Android 13 Go Edition OS.
For photography, the Itel A05s uses a 5-megapixel sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front.
Whereas, the Redmi A2 has an 8-megapixel primary camera with a QVGA sensor and LED flashlight on the back. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
In battery comparison, Itel A05s features a 4000mAh battery, however, the Redmi A2 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery.

Itel has launched the A05s in India at a price of ₹6,499, and it will soon be available for purchase from Amazon and Itel’s official website.
The Redmi A2 (2GB 32GB) is available on Flipkart at a starting price of ₹6,476. However, the 2GB 64GB variant is available on Amazon at a discounted price of ₹5,299.
