Is this the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus?
With the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Samsung seems to be going back to a Qualcomm SoC.
Prolific leaker OnLeaks has leaked details about the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, along with renders and pictures of prototype models. The S6 Edge Plus is supposed to have a 5.5 inch display of an unknown resolution. Presumably, it would be Quad-HD, and Samsung may even choose 4K for the S6 Edge Plus.

Samsung may be going with a Qualcomm SoC for the S6 Edge Plus, as opposed to the current S6 Edge’s Exynos chipset. Samsung chose Exynos because of overheating issues in the Snapdragon 810, and the S6 Edge Plus may sport the Snapdragon 808, which is a hexa-core processor that’s supposed to maintain performance without overheating.

The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus could also have a USB Type-C port, which is seeing the fastest adoption rates of any USB standard in the industry. The purported Galaxy Note 5 specs also appear similar, meaning that Samsung would have two largely similar phablets in its lineup competing with one another.
