Is this the Apple A10 processor?
HIGHLIGHTS

According to earlier reports, the chipset will be solely manufactured by TSMC

Apple is speculated to announce the next generation of iPhones next month and one of the many changes the company is expected to make is an improved chipset. The Apple iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, and the smaller iPhone SE sported the A9 processor, so the new iPhone 7 is expected to sport an A10 SoC. A user on Weibo named Geekbar posted an image of what seems to be the A10 processor. However, the user did not give any additional details about the processor. While the images could have been easily faked, the leakster has been right in the past. Back in 2014, the same user had also posted a leaked document the suggested that Apple would offer a 128GB variant of the iPhone 6 and ditch the 32GB variant.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) was going to be the sole manufacturer of the A10 processor. Earlier, TSMC and Samsung were responsible for the manufacturing of the iPhone’s chipset. Further, a report by Bloomberg suggests that Apple will unveil the iPhone 7 on September 7. This matches up to Evan Blass tweet which suggested that the phone will be up for pre-order on September 9
