Recently, reports circulated online about the company’s upcoming release, the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G, which is anticipated to be its first entry-level smartphone in India. Now, iQOO has officially announced the launch date for this new device in India.

On X (formerly Twitter), Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India, revealed that the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G is scheduled to launch in India on July 15th. There is also a dedicated microsite on Amazon for the Z9 Lite 5G launch.

According to the teaser image, the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G handset will have a dual-rear camera setup. It also confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be available in blue colour option.

The microsite revealed that the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The iQOO Z9 Lite 5G will score over 4,14,000 points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform, the company claims.

Rumours suggest that the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G could be equipped with a 6.56-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. It might house a 50MP primary camera, and could pack a 5,000mAh battery.
