iQOO Z9 5G India launch officially teased: Processor, OIS support & more revealed

iQOO is gearing up to launch the iQOO Z9 5G smartphone in India. Recently, a tech YouTuber and social media influencer was seen showcasing the iQOO Z9, giving a glimpse of its front and rear design. Now, the micro-site of the Z9 5G is live on iQOO India’s website, confirming a few details about the upcoming smartphone model. Let’s check out what to expect from the iQOO Z9 5G.

The micro-site revealed that the upcoming iQOO Z9 5G smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.

The company revealed that the Z9 5G handset achieved a score of 7,34,000 points on the AnTuTu 10 benchmark.

The upcoming iQOO Z9 5G is also confirmed to feature a Sony IMX882 sensor.

Now, let’s talk about the design. The teaser shared on the micro-site revealed that the iQOO Z9 5G handset will house a dual camera setup on the back with LED flash support.

The teaser image revealed the Z9 5G smartphone model in Green colour featuring distinctive patterns on the back.

When exactly the iQOO Z9 5G handset will be launched in India is yet to be announced.

Rumours suggest that the iQOO Z9 5G is expected to feature an AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. While the exact screen size is unknown, it is expected to be over 6 inches.

For photography, this smartphone model will likely feature an OIS-enabled Sony IMX882 50MP primary camera.

As far as the price is concerned, there is speculation that the iQOO Z9 handset is expected to be priced below ₹25,000. The company could announce this smartphone in early March in India.
