iQOO released its newest Z series of smartphones, including the iQOO Z6 44W, the iQOO Z6 5G, and the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G, in India and other countries earlier this year. The Chinese company is now rumored to be planning to release a brand new version of the iQOO Z6 5G model. The latest addition is said to have a Snapdragon 700 series chipset and a better ability to charge instantly.
According to a Chinese publication CNMO, the latest version of the iQOO Z6 5G could come with a whopping 80W instant charging capability. The old model of the iQOO Z6 5G released in India has a fast charging support of no more than 18W. On the other hand, the iQOO Z6 Professional model has a 66W instant charging boost. Specifically, the iQOO Z6 4G model has 44W rapid charging option.
Also, the description suggests that the iQOO Z6 5G model with 80W charging technology might come with a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series processor. In India, the hottest model of the smartphone is the one with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G octa-core processor. Like the old model, the new one will also have a high 120Hz refresh rate for the screen.
The company might also replace the current iQOO Z6 5G model in India and other markets with the upcoming version with more features. In India, it could come for a starting price of Rs. 15,499. There's also a chance that the faster-charging version of the iQOO Z6 5G could be sold worldwide as the iQOO Z6x, with a higher price tag.
