iQOO Z5 is slated to launch on September 23 in China but as per the latest report, the phone is also launching in India by the end of September. iQOO launched the Z3 back in June in India as an affordable gaming phone with features like 120Hz refresh rate display, Snapdragon 768G chip and more.
As per a report by GSMArena that cites a reliable source, iQOO Z5 will launch by September end in India. Furthermore, the same source suggests that the iQOO Z5 will be priced under Rs 30,000 in India. Considering the iQOO Z3 is priced starting at Rs 19,900 in India, iQOO will likely bridge the gap between the Z3 and iQOO 7 with an upgraded iQOO Z5.
The iQOO Z5 is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chip which is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone has a 120Hz refresh rate display with a punch-hole notch cutout. The screen supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate and is also HDR10 certified. It also has stereo speakers and supports Hi-res audio.
Also confirmed is the presence of a 5,000mAh battery that iQOO claims can offer upto 96 hours worth of music playback, 18.3 hours of video playback and 10.4 hours of gaming.
While iQOO has not revealed the exact launch date of the iQOO Z5 for the Indian market, we expect to know more after the phone is officially launched in China on September 23.
