iQOO has announced a new Neo-series smartphone called iQOO Neo 6. It is a flagship-grade device with hardware like Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a 4700mAh battery backed by 80W fast charging support, an FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz panel on the front, and a 64MP+12MP+2MP triple camera stack by the back. iQOO is also offering Android 12 out of the box.
iQOO Neo 6 Specs and Features
iQOO Neo 6 is outfitted with a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 1300 nits of brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It also boasts a dedicated display chip to ensure proper colors in different ambient lighting situations.
On the front, up top, there is a small black hole housing the phone’s 16MP selfie taker. On the rear side, there is a 64MP main camera which is accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP depth-sensing unit.
You get an under-screen fingerprint reader for getting into the phone and there you’ll be welcomed by Android 12-based Origin OS. If the phone makes it to other markets, this Android skin might switch to Funtouch OS.
The software is laid on top of a hardware assortment comprising Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a vapor chamber liquid cooling system, and a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging support.
It also brings things like WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB-C port, dual speakers, a dual linear vibration motor, and 5G. You can grab the device in Black, Blue, and Orange colorways.
iQOO Neo 6 Price and Availability
iQOO Neo 6 is available in China at CNY 2,799 (~₹33,500) for the 8+128GB model, while the 8+256GB model costs CNY 2,999 (~₹35,900), and the 12GB + 256GB variant carries a price tag of CNY 3,299 (~₹39,500). The company might rebrand it for markets like India, although nothing of this sort has been revealed or rumored till now.
