In China, many smartphone brands have launched their next-gen flagship smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. These smartphones will also come to India, but when? We don’t know that yet. However, we do know the Realme GT 7 Pro and the iQOO 13 will be the first to arrive. Realme and iQOO both have officially announced the launch date of their smartphones in India.
In this article, I will compare all the details that we know about the iQOO 13 and the Realme GT 7 Pro. Since both smartphones are already out in China, we know a lot about them. So, let’s go!
Let’s start with the launch date first. As I mentioned earlier Realme has already announced that the GT 7 Pro will be the first smartphone to enter the Indian market with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. This smartphone is set to launch in India on November 26. On the other hand, iQOO has recently confirmed that it will launch the iQOO 13 in India on December 3.
Coming to their pricing now, as we all know the Indian pricing will be revealed once the device is launched. But, let’s take an idea from their Chinese pricing. Realme has launched the GT 7 Pro in China for CNY 3,699, which would be around Rs 43,000 in India. Moreover, the iQOO 13 launched in China for CNY 3999, which is approximately Rs 47,000.
The iQOO 13 comes with a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 1440 x 3168 pixels resolution. This display supports 10-bit colour, 144 Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. Whereas, the Realme GT 7 Pro features a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 1264 x 2780 pixels resolution. It supports 10-bit colour, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ as well.
Both smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is paired with up to 1TB of storage and 16GB RAM in both phones in China. Both phones also run on Android 15-based UI skins. A 6150mAh battery powers the iQOO 13, whereas the Realme GT 7 Pro boasts a 6500mAh battery. Both smartphones also support up to 120-watt fast charging support.
For photography, you get a triple camera setup on both smartphones. The iQOO 13 is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. The Realme GT 7 Pro, on the other hand, has a better 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom but an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.
