On the internet, the OnePlus 13 and iQOO 13 are doing rounds with new leaks and rumours every day. The brands have started to tease their upcoming smartphones with specifications. In the latest development, Jia Jingdong, Vice President of Vivo Brand and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, revealed a couple of specifications of the iQOO 13 in a Weibo post. This indicates an imminent launch of the iQOO 13, however, the device will be first arrive in China and after a few months or weeks, it will be launched in India. As per some reports, the iQOO 13 is expected to arrive in India in the first week of December.

iQOO 13 vs iQOO 12
After Xiaomi, now iQOO has also confirmed that Qualcomm’s upcoming chipset will be called Snapdragon 8 Elite, the successor of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Jingdong has revealed that the iQOO 13 will be powered by this chipset only. Moreover, he also claimed that it will be packed with significant advancements in CPU, GPU, and NPU performance.
Moreover, it will use an advanced cooling system with multiple layers of graphene and a 7K large VC heat spreader. The device will also have feature the Q2 gaming chip, which will allow high-quality 2K graphics and smooth gaming at 144 frames per second on the iQOO 13.
Coming to its display now, the iQOO 13 will reportedly feature a 6.82-inch OLED panel with 2K resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it is confirmed to have a 2K Q10 Everest display, which is developed by BOE, a company that specialises in display technologies and solutions.
Next, the iQOO 13 will be packed with a massive 6,150mAh battery with the support of up to 120-watt fast charging. The iQOO 12 features a 5000mAh battery with the same fast charging support.
For photography, the iQOO 13 is rumoured to sport a 50-megapixel main camera along with an ultrawide lens and a telephoto sensor with up to 2x optical zoom. Last year, the iQOO 12 had a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, so the camera might not get upgraded in the latest iQOO smartphone.
As far as the price is concerned, we are expecting that the iQOO 13 will launch in India with the same pricing as the iQOO 12. For those who don’t know, the iQOO 12 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 52,999.
