iQOO is one of the brands that launches its flagship number series smartphones as soon as the new Snapdragon flagship processor rolls out. The chipset is rumoured to launch globally this month only. This means we can expect the iQOO 13 very soon with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. However, iQOO is not the only brand that will try to make the first mover’s advantage. The OnePlus 13 and Xiaomi 15 can also debut very soon, this month is also possible. iQOO brand is known for its performance-centric devices, but last year, the iQOO 12 gave good competition to its competitors in camera and display as well. iQOO 13 vs iQOO 12

First of all, let’s talk about the chipset. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor will definitely be an upgrade over iQOO 12’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. AI is the new talk show but iQOO hasn’t announced any AI features in its smartphone. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, the iQOO 13 can pack some AI capabilities because the chipset is expected to boost AI performance, with a low-power AI (LPAI) system handling on-device tasks like camera, audio, and sensors.

A few days ago Smartprix revealed all the key specifications of the iQOO 13. The smartphone is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display that will support up to 144Hz refresh rate. The iQOO 13 might pack a brighter display than its predecessor. Apart from that, it is also rumoured to be a BOE panel, which will be one of the best display panels out there.

For photography, the iQOO 13 can feature a 50-megapixel main camera along with an ultrawide lens and a telephoto sensor with up to 2x optical zoom. Last year, the iQOO 12 had a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, so the camera might not get upgraded in the latest iQOO smartphone.

Lastly, the iQOO 13 was spotted on the 3C listing recently, where the 100-fast charging support was revealed. Apart from that, the iQOO 13 is expected to be backed by a 6150mAh battery, which is a massive upgrade in itself.
